Some dude over at motomodders says he has the Alltel v3m monster file.

Posted: Thu, 12/21/2006 - 21:27 by tmorgan1689Ok my dumb self forgot to save my eri, am i screwed completly or is there a way to fix it? Also, my phone wont connect to let me use pst, did anyone else have this problem. It comes up as a Motorola Accessory and wont work using the normal drivers.

With the wiki, we are doing an UPGRADE, so the verizon base is still on the phone, and we can appply fixes to make it back to normal. With this MONSTER, it literally ERASES ANY traces of Verizon, so we cant just apply fixes/patches, we have to treat it like a blank slate ALLTEL phone. Not only do we have to change the reference files to Alltel, we need to INPUT eri's, prl's, basically, everything related to YOUR account info that made it work on Verizon in the first place. Since the original UPGRADE firmware is a supplement to your phone, thats why it doesnt delete all your phone info. There is stuff I know I am missing and that IO havent backed up yet, but as soon as I am done following Marks process to backup the phone WHILE IN GOOD WORKING condition, I will tryt this monster.

Posted: Thu, 12/21/2006 - 21:41 by Jadls79If you have QPST you can go in and back up all the esential data like the MIN and MDN and things a lot those lines. You just need to use the Service programer and read from and save to file. But you should try and locate QPST build 215 if you don't already have it.

EDIT: Ok got it to work on verizon now. Will someone please list the files i need to backup, please.
