ALLTEL V3M Monster File!

I think it might be quite a bit of steps, maybe too many to list, although Neo would be able to tell you for sure... however if the guide is not yet done I think his efforts are better spent finishing the guide so you can find out for yourself!

From what I've been able to read, the VIVO mp3 player is much better than the Alltell one. The other high point is that you don't have to worry about *228 breaking your data. I too am waiting for the VIVO guide to come out, I was about ready to flash to Alltell but VIVO sounds better as well as easier too. :)

People keep saying that they're not sure if *228 breaks data on the monster but it doesn't... I haven't heard anyone having it break stuff... some people may have had issues getting everything running again and the timing of their *228 dial might be the culprit, but dialing *228 doesn't break a thing. I do believe the only problem with *228 option 2 is that the alltel f/w on a verizon phone for some reason causes the wrong PRL to update.

I am a newbie, so hello to everyone. I recently received the blue screen of death on my RAZR V3c, so I decided to flash it. I flashed it with the Verizon V3c monster upgrade, but the menu button wasn't working. I flashed it several times, hoping to correct the problem, but it wouldn't fix it.

After learning about the Alltel flash, I decided to give it a try, since I had nothing to lose, and IT IS WORKING WONDERFULLY! The user interface is much more inviting and user friendly. Accessing features is much faster than with the stock Motorola, and it is much more delightful to use!

Thanks to everyone for having all this information, without it, I would've had to purchase a new phone, simply because of a little moisture, which my warranty and insurance didn't cover.
