ZachLovesPhones; the limit is way higher then you'll ever have to worry about. I've flashed mine at least 20+ times. From my understanding it's like over 50 when you could have an issue and I've never seen anyone say they got to the limit either tho
restart06; that link about the back up is relative to the v3 ( ie GSM model Razr) is it not, CDMA phones don't use monster pack like GSM phones do. FYI the .09.01p is only an upgrade and not a full flash that is why the # of files do not match.

QPST can write to certain folders that the other programs can not, like one in specific I know it can is the /nvm folder that is how I upload new PRL updates to the phone which you can't do with p2k... or BitPim. If you look for QPST you want version 2.7 build 91 I think. I'd have to double check that tho, and I'm at the office now so I'll post back later today with that info.

Does anyone have a clue in which files should we be replacing?

So I think the original software somehow keeps the files there .. which again is yet another reason NEWC_01.05.0A is needed.
Pyde, any luck on what you were talking about? You said you might be able to get it from a moto guy? Would that be NEWC_01.05.0A or the pre-production software with the moto ui?

I just talked with my buddy who works for Verison!
He does program for them and when I asked if he had access to the flash files he had to think for a second then said probably no.
I told him I was in need of the s/w version NEWC_01.05.0A .shx, he said he will talk to one of the product testers and see what he can do!
This is a good shot as I was a Final tester for a video lottery machine company years ago and we had access to all the code even security prom stuff.
We shall see!
