Posted: Sun, 11/19/2006 - 14:21 by pyde_pypperNada bud, I've been a bit busy with some family matters the past couple of week and have not had any time to deal with it. I will more then likely run into him this holiday weekend so I'll see what's up. If he can do it odds are I'll be able to get what ever, I hope. Personally I wasn't really even looking for a VZW v3m UI flash, but now that we have folks with an issue I'll do my best. What I was trying to get it the Moto v3m UI flash file, but I'll drop him a line and mention to look into both then if he can do anything. Problem is they have all the stuff under lock and key, so unless you have the security clearance you can't get to the files in the database on there Intranet, you have to get clearance to even get to the files. Which he has no luck with as of the last time I talked to him.

I hope to hear some wonderful news from you guys about the v3m FW..
BTW, now, I'm retrying to upload files to v3m like original one with new Bitpim version(even looks no differences), just b/w it is much easier & faster than P2KCommender to handle file system.
Previously, I could upload some files to v3m with Bitpim without auto deleting. :D
But now, I only have an original file contents in the blew folder, so later I will look over the origin file contents with Bitpim again. :wink:

Posted: Mon, 11/20/2006 - 17:16 by pyde_pypperIt depends on whether or not you are upgrading a current flash to fix any bugs, or if you go the route I have and a few others and flashed your phone to a different companies flash file. Like in my case I wanted to get rid of the god awful VZW UI on the phone, I wanted the original Moto UI which has everything unlocked on it compared to the VZW UI that has everything locked.

I get teased about that all the time from my Uncle who works at Moto they are personal communicators these days. But yea they are some high tech minnie electronic devices that is for sure. Way more to them then you'd ever think.
