So is free DUN possible with a Sprint V3M? I followed some guides on the site and I get the #67 error message that says something about incorrect username and password.

Not with EVDO or 1xRTT speeds, but with 14,4k yes it is possible.. Just use a number from freeaccess.org or any other dialup company instead of #777
I think only Google WAP is possible, but not HTR. This is because you can't change the port away from 80 (for HTR WAP is has to be 9201) as far as I've heard, and since Google uses port 80 you can get that to work. HowEVER... I have also read that you will be charged for the data transferred unless you have an unlimited data plan, and it's really expensive to pay by the kb. Plus the Google WAP is so sucky it's not at ALL worth it to risk an expensive charge. People have tried disabling the Sprint WAP thing and it doesn't work at ALL with that disabled, and with it enabled it costs you $.

My bad. I was reading something about Sprint and DUN where a CS actually told a customer that it was completely doable and allowed by them and everything. Could be that person didn't know what they were talking about... or maybe Sprint is really cool about that.
Ok i tried it with a free access provider but I get the same error. My phone says error #67 something about power vision username and password and my computer gives me a 678 error. Any Ideas why. I disable EVDO and did a seem to enable DUN.
I (sadly, briefly) had a RAZR V3M with Verizon but had to return it and switch to Sprint. With Verizon I was able to use my phone as a modem to dialup an old school dialup ISP and get wonderfully slow internet access and this only used talk minutes. I loved it. It was perfect for what I needed ( a single telnet session into a more powerful / better connected system).
With my Sprint V3M, whenever I try to connect a message on my phone pops up saying I need to enable Power Vision. I don't want to use sprint's stinking access. I just want to be able to dial a number to an ISP like I did previously. I have EVDO disabled and played around with other relevant looking settings, in the field service menu, but to no avail.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use the phone as a plain old modem on sprint's network or am I just screwed and have to pay a premium to use my phone for internet access? Dialing up an ISP puts no extra stress on the network beyond regular voice calls; I see no reason to have to pay more to do this.
I'm perfectly comfortable doing seem edits or firmware flashes. I've got moto4lin and have already customized several other things.
P.S. Anyone working on a partial or complete replacement non-official firmware? God I'd kill for that.
