OK im PRETTY SURE i figured this out! wo0o.
- Start with the ##DATA# (##3282#)
Select Browser (second option)
Go to edit and enter your MSL
(Don't know your MSL? http://hacktherazr.com/node/1395
Select Gateway 1 (second option)
Then, select G1 Primary IP (first option) and enter "064.233.167.099".
Keep all the ports at default (80)
Go back to the primary menu (Power Vision) and go to SIP (fourth option)
Edit, and go to Data Gateway Primary (third option)
Enter "google.com"
Exit the ##DATA# and the phone will reset.
"WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU MA'AM" free WAP.

Posted: Thu, 01/04/2007 - 19:40 by styolalso me and EJ were discussing this and its been determined that with this method you cannot use our official hacktherazr.com proxy because it runs off the normal 9201 port -- for some reason sprint's v3m hides the port specification option (although it should be somewhere) this means that you have to have a proxy located on port 80
google's is port 80, but that doesnt stop anyone (including myself) from running a sprint proxy off port 80.. you can even run your own by using "HoTTProxy"...
im thinking about changing my personal wap proxy (the west coast htr.sytes.net proxy) to be a sprint one.... the sprint population at HTR is kinda low right now, but hopefully soon it will catch on and the supply and demand of hacks will increase :)

It always prompts "Error #67 Registration Failed. Your Power Vision Username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again."

This way is NOT possible because google and sprint use the same port (80), there for it will always be recorded on sprints network, and charged to your account. This might be possible using hottproxy, and change the port.(Have not tried this).
