What format files did you apply to the phone as a "skin"?
were these a bunch of .dat files accompanied by a .ski file?
- if this is the case, then you should not have done that. Verizon does not use the same "skinning" technique used by other carriers (on the Razr cell phones). About the only exception to this would be the Advanced skin editing hack/guide that I have written up and provided files for (which are exclusive to this site and this site alone). It is also prudent to mention that this method should only be used on the OLDER firmwares beginning with NEWC_ (not the 24.1_ firmwares).
Verizon uses a totally different user interface than every other wireless carrier on this planet (if you have not noticed already). Skinning in the generic sense of the term (ie. totally changing all the graphics and text in all areas of the phone) is NOT possible on a verizon razr v3m. What IS possible is to use the Brew Resource Editor to create a new set of custom .bar files to make up the MENU SCREENS only. taking things a bit further, it is possible to HEX EDIT the red bar at the bottom (which is also a .bar file, but is unopenable in brew resource editor).
Alot of the feasability to do the hacks mentioned above relies heavily upon what firmware is on your phone. Please respond as to which of the above you were attempting to do, as well as what firmware is currently on your phone. Providing as much detail as possible as to what steps you took would be highly benificial in resolving this issue if at all possible to do without re-flashing the phone.
incase I didnt make it clear above, it would be helpful if you included your firmware version along with your next post. can generally be found under the battery following the heading: S/W and can also be found via the phone's menus.

The exact firmware that your phone (if it is in fact a V3m) came with stock, you can find that underneath the battery (it will say s/w and start with either NEWC_ or 24_). The firmware version you have in your profile, "5y3bnen", is either a real new one to us, or more likely a tiny mistake on your part. Then as spike clearly posted, try to remember the exact steps you DID that got you where you needed to post two posts for help. This thread is one, here's the other one from your blog:

Otherwise, if you are trying to use a soft key to get to a menu, make sure test mode is disabled. Sometimes my V3m would voluntarily do this if I had test mode enabled even when I cleared back to the home screen. You can look up how to do this, but it's in the Programming Menu accessible via:
