Setting up ANY WAP
While following the steps to setup any new WAP on my VIVO flashed phone, for me within the phone's menu's there isn't any where to setup a username and password. I do have most of the other options, just not the username and password.
Any ideas?

Posted: Wed, 02/13/2008 - 21:28 by blaze1You can go to Menu->Connections->Websessions and you can create websessions with all the options. You can also use PST to read the 1X RTT Browser file and create a new proxy with all the option in the Ver. 6x tab.

Posted: Wed, 02/13/2008 - 21:51 by teddyearpHmmm. Maybe my menu is too different, but I can't imagine why. I go to menu > (no connections option, so) settings > connection > and the only options there is Incoming call, bluetooth link and USB settings. What am I doing wrong, or . . . . ?

Posted: Wed, 02/13/2008 - 22:51 by MoparSarahAll you should need to do is 1 or 2 seem edits (you may already have 1 but not the other, just double check them and do what's necessary):
Seem 2742 Record 0001 Bytes 0000 Offset 0018
Check bit 5, enables WEB SESSIONS in the programming menu.
Seem 2742 Record 0001 Bytes 0000 Offset 0019
Check bit 3, enables WEB SESSIONS advanced settings.
If you have the WEB SESSIONS in the setup menu, likely the first is already done, but not the second.

bytes 90, seem 2742, record 0001:
offset 62, check bit 5
offset 6a, check bit 3
These are from the alltell flash wiki @ HoFo.
