I think you use RSD general and upload a file then change it... I'll take a look around HoFo but I think that is what you do.

All you need to do is get RSD general installed then plug your phone in. Once it finds it click the Provisioning tab on the left and the screen will change. then on the right side scroll down to Browser and put a check mark next to it. After that click the Read button so it reads the phone. Once it reads it click on Browser right where you put the check mark and you will see all the settings. from there change the Homepage to whatever you wish for the proxy you are using and then click the Write button and it will writing the update back to the phoen and you should be good to go.

Get it from Teddy's Mickey sig. Your virus program might see UT but just have it take care of it . The program will still run fine.

I'm kind of confused here. Why or how did you get your VZW V3m to point to MSN in the first place? Your profile says your on Verizon with a V3m, however you've left out your software/firmware version, though I doubt that has anything to do with your troubles. That is, if the rest of the info is correct. Usually with a VZW V3m, when you open the 'browser' on the phone, you will be sent to the VZW "my account" webpage, unless you've already changed/added other proxies to your phone, if that is the case, please give us more information.

As for using RSD CDMA General, you obviously have found the the guide for using it, and the tiny little 'bug' in the version I have, but as Sailorcancer pointed out, just go ahead and let your anti-virus program 'clean' it while you install it. Albiet, I have found that that method only really works if you're using AVG Free as your AV program. I tried using Avast once, and it wouldn't hardly let me do a thing.

So, fill in the blanks, let us know why your phone points to msn in the first place and we'll go from there. Oh, BTW, if you have RSD gen working, pyde already gave you the info you need.

Have you tried the WAP guide here? I'll try to give a quick run down. Instead of entering those settings on your phone, use RSD General to read the Browser file on your phone, make a new browser proxy with thes settings and then re-write it back to your phone.

If you have doubts on how to do it, just don't and when this site gets a bit more fixed and later when I get home from work, I'll try to give more details.
