Verizon fixed DUN backdoor -- this thread contains a fix

Tethered DUN was working fine yesterday. Today, I got online, and was automatically redirected to https://dunsp.vzw.com/, which says "This device is currently not authorized to access Dial-Up Networking services, please contact your wireless service provider for more details."

Nothing on my plan has changed or anything. Are they on to me?

ahhhhhh

idk if this would be of any help, but i use my v3m with linux ubuntu. all i had to do was the seem edit for dun using pyde's modified seem. then set up a mobile broadband connection in ubuntu 9.10. it automatically picked up my phone as k1m/l7c/v3m. selected my carrier verizon. i left all the settings as they were. and left the username and password boxes blank.. connected and i use everyday.. also my phone is prepaid so i dont' know if you would be billed on any contract plan or not. mine is completely free
