How to get wap on a phone without #073887*!!!

Posted:

If you want to get HTR proxy on a phone with out the #07388* then this is what you need to do.

YOU NEED:
A HTR ACCOUNT (account name must be your phone # EXAMPLE: (9999999999 is where you put your PHONE #) 9999999999 NO DASHES!)
The phone you want to setup on!

------------------------------------------the procces------------------------------
first open your phone to main menu.
press menu
now press 0
the screen should now say ????? in the center
type 0000 until the programing sceen (a menu) pops up
scroll down all the way to, wap settings
Select it.
in the primary Proxy list set up the proxys as folows;
click proxy 1, make the text say: wap.hacktherazr.com
on proxy 2 it should say : wap.hacktherazr.net
now hit CLR or back
in the Primart ports do the foloing;
make all of the ports say 9201. You can set by clicking ok on each!
now after ALL THE PORTS ARE 9201, go back or hit clr
now scroll to user password. Type your HTR password here. (note you may notice there is no username box!!! this is why your HTR username should be your phone #!) hit clr
NOW that that is over your home page url should be left as http://homepage
NOw hit end or clr

go into your WAP browser. now you have free internet on a NON #073887*

This should be stickyed :wink:

My guess is for the En-V, and as mentioned this process will not work with a Moto phone.

Ah yes I saw something in another thread about how he found the programming menu for his En-V. That must be it.

Also as a side note: this programing menu has tons of extra things that the moto dose NOT have. i can inform you some more after i get my en-v. i even herd a rumor about a seem edit for the razr to enable it. i also know that i think it works for the NEWC (new vzw frimware)

My Dad's Samsung SCH-A950 has the programming menu hidden like that (I'm pretty sure...it was under one of the menus) where you hit the 0 key and then enter the password. The A950 actually had millions of hidden menus. OK, a bit of an exaggeration, but it had quite a few (5-10 maybe?). Not all of them did anything cool though (at least not that I knew of).

My brothers samsung has one in setup you hit # and one in Get it now and you hit *. And there is way more programing in those menus, somethings the razor requires a seem edit for he can actual do threw the programing menu.

theres more in those LG menus, but a lot of them dont do anything. also dont forget about the ##DEBUG menu, it has a lot of the the same stuff in an LG menu, its just more confusing.
