How do I side load a BREW app to a Verizon V3m?
I have the cable, the .bar, .mif, .mod, .sig and .cong files but no idea how to load these files to the phone. Bluetooth says these files cannot be transferred.
Any ideas?
Thanks - Jeff

By the nature of what brew is, you can not just transfer files over to the phone and have them automatically work. They need to be installed and the only way we currently know of to install Brew applications on our phones is through purchasing them with the Get It Now application (Verizon Network/Firmware). You can not even purchase a game or application on one phone and turn around and move those files to another phone. The files need to be registered with the phones operating system through the installation process.
To illustrate this a bit better, I will relate it to something you are more familiar with. Imagine if you would, installing a game on your windows computer and then copying only the installation directory to another computer. The game will not run properly, if at all, on the second computer since there are registry values that are not present. That being said, if you would like to be able to add applications to your phone for free, you would need to have a firmware on your phone that supports Java rather than Brew.
